Artificially no compromise can be created where crime not exists, – Speaker of the Parliament Irakli Kobakhidze said in response to the statement of the MP Sergi Kapanadze at the Bureau sitting today.

Sergi Kapanadze made a statement regarding the recording, allegedly with the participation of Mirza Subeliani, released yesterday and raised the question about the role of the Parliament in this context.

Speaker of the Parliament in response to the question noted that the Parliament fulfills its role and function properly.

“The Parliament has a role, this role is clear and the Parliament fulfills this function properly. We saw one show that has already ended unsuccessful and now you offer the second one, which will be also ended unsuccessfully. Why? Because artificially no compromise can be created where crime not exists”, – said Irakli Kobakhidze.

“In addition, we have our role. If someone committees a crime, I promise you that the Parliament does not close the eyes on it.

As for nine years of National Movement ruling, I want to respond. It was the fascist, Nazi regime, as a result of which people were tortured and raped. There were concrete facts. These nine years were not nine years of simple misconducts; but nine years of grave crimes, nine years of total abuse of human dignity. That’s why society gave you an answer in 2012 and will do the same in the forthcoming election, on October 28”, – Speaker of the parliament added.
