Irakli Kobakhidze – Meeting with Giorgi Gakharia to be held by the end of this week

Irakli Kobakhidze, Chairman of Parliament says that the meeting with Giorgi Gakharia, Minister of Internal Affairs will have been held in the parliamentary format by the end of this week.

The ruling team will have the standpoint about special operation of May 12 at night clubs in Tbilisi after discussions.

According to Kobakhidze, the government acts in human form in reaction to protest rallies and this is a radical change in the country after 2012.

“The government, as a rule, used to react with violence over freedom of expression before 2012. The system is now oriented on human rights as guaranteed by the Constitution,” Kobakhidze stated.
