Irakli Kobakhidze - It is too early to talk about the candidates, as one year is left before the presidential election

According to Irakli Kobakhidze, Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia, the issue of a presidential candidacy has not been discussed in the ruling party.

“It is too early to talk about the candidates, as one year is left before the presidential election. We will start discussion of this issue after the elections approaches,” Kobakhidze said in response to a question about Health Minister Sergeenko’s alleged candidacy.

According to Kobakhidze, one year is left and naturally, the candidate will be nominated shortly before the presidential elections.
