The credit for Georgia’s democracy, peace, economic progress, and its status as a candidate for EU membership primarily goes to Bidzina Ivanishvili, stated Irakli Kobakhidze, the candidate for the position of Prime Minister of Georgia, at the ruling Georgian Dream Congress.

Kobakhidze expressed his gratitude to the founder and honorary chairperson of the party, Bidzina Ivanishvili, for nominating him as a candidate for the PM and for the trust placed in him.

“Bidzina Ivanishvili is an example for each of us on how to serve the country. Over the past years, every team member has contributed to the progress of our country. However, it must be emphasized that the current state of Georgia, democracy, peace, economic progress, and the EU candidate status are primarily Bidzina Ivanishvili’s merit. Special thanks to the party’s founder for this!

I also express gratitude to Irakli Garibashvili for the trust placed in me, especially acknowledging his highly successful three years as Prime Minister, which brought unprecedented success to our country. Thank you very much.
