Irakli Kobakhidze – Candidates of ruling party are likely to win in Zugdidi, Marneuli, Chiatura constituencies

Irakli Kobakhidze, Executive Secretary of Georgian Dream-Democratic Georgia Party claims that according to the preliminary data, the candidates of the ruling party are likely to win in  Zugdidi, Marneuli and Chiatura constituencies, while there is possibility of the run-off in Mtatsminda constituency of Tbilisi.

According to Kobakhidze, the result is already highly impressive. He also thanked the voters for being active in May 19 by-elections.

“The tradition of democratic elections continues in Georgia. Despite minor excesses, certain provocations and attempts to cause the disorder artificially, we managed to hold the elections in fair environment,” Kobakhidze said.
