IPRM meeting held in Ergneti village

The 108th meeting of the Group on Incidents Prevention and Response Mechanisms (IPRM) has ended in Ergneti village, Gori Municipality.

The borderization process at the Administrative Border Line (ABL), unlawful detentions of Georgian citizens and humanitarian issues were in focus at the meeting, Irakli Antadze, Deputy Head of the Information-Analytical Department of the State Security Service of Georgia (SSG), has said.

Alluding to the release of the Georgian citizens, Antidze hinted at “some progress” but did not provide an exact date.

The South Ossetian occupation regime illegally imprisons five Georgian citizens.
