The 129th meeting of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM) was held in the village of Ergneti, Gori Municipality, where all significant incidents recorded in the occupied region and along the occupation line since the previous meeting were discussed.
The State Security Service of Georgia reported that its representatives once again demanded accountability for those responsible for the murder of Georgian citizen Tamaz Ginturi.
“The representatives of the central government also focused on the issue of persons held in illegal detention and demanded the release of all detainees.
The meeting also addressed the illegal restriction of freedom of movement and the ongoing process of so-called borderization. Discussions were held regarding the movement regime at the so-called crossing points.
The next meeting of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism is scheduled to be held on February 4, 2026,” the State Security Service stated.
