Invia CEO: When global brand enters country, it brings new experience, connections, and culture

“Today, we are presenting a project that in its significance and scale is much more than a single building or even a specific brand. DownTown Tbilisi consists of six distinctive buildings that combine residential, retail, public and business functions within their concept,” Levan Pkhakadze, CEO of Invia, said at the official international launch event for Trump Tower in Tbilisi.

According to Pkhakadze, Trump Tower-branded residences are becoming an important part of the project’s unique ecosystem.

“For us, DownTown Tbilisi is not simply a real estate project. It is a vision of what Tbilisi can be — a city that respects its history and unique character while confidently looking toward the future.

The importance of major projects is not measured only by their scale. Their main value lies in what they create and how they transform a city, a country and the lives of future generations.

We all understand that when a global brand such as the Trump Organization enters a country, it represents a major vote of confidence in that country, for which we are very grateful to the organization. It means that Tbilisi is recognized as a city capable of implementing a major project of international significance and the highest standards.

When a global brand enters a country, it naturally brings more than just its name. First and foremost, it brings experience, international connections, a new audience and a unique culture of quality. Therefore, we believe DownTown Tbilisi will not only have a positive impact on the appearance of our city, but will also make a significant contribution to the economic advancement of our country,” Pkhakadze said.

He said some projects have the potential to change the direction of a city’s development.

“There are projects that simply develop within the history of a country and city, progressing at their normal pace, after which the city does not change significantly. But there are projects that themselves change the direction of a city’s development.

Our ambition is for DownTown Tbilisi to be such a project — to become a landmark of our city and the modern face of our country.

It is a great honor for us to have the opportunity to implement this project together with our partners. At the same time, we feel an enormous responsibility toward our city, our country and future generations,” he said.

Pkhakadze thanked the Georgian government, Tbilisi City Hall and City Council, international partners, architects, engineers and everyone involved in the project.

He acknowledged that Georgia’s economy and the country itself may not yet be fully ready for a project of such scale, but said the developers believe they are acting at the right time.

“But we believe and hope that what we are doing is timely, that what we are doing is needed by Georgia, and that someone, at some point, always has to be the first to do something,” he said.

We once again thank everyone involved in this project. We believe DownTown Tbilisi will become a symbol of pride for our city and our country and will make an important contribution to our country’s success,” Pkhakadze said.
