Investigation Service holds virtual meeting under EU-funded project
The Investigation Service of the Georgian Finance Ministry on Monday held a virtual meeting under the EU-funded project – “Support to the Public Administration Reform in Georgia.”
At an introductory meeting, foreign colleagues shared their experience in financial crime investigation and criminal asset management with the representatives of the Investigation Service.
The participants were acquainted with the activities of the Investigation Service, the existing challenges, the important changes made in the recent period, and the results achieved last year.
The meeting highlighted to further deepening the coordination between the two agencies in the direction of investigating crimes committed in the financial and economic field. The parties agreed on specific directions for future cooperation, reads the press statement of the Investigation Service.
