Int'l tourism revenues hit record high in Q1

The revenues from international tourism hit a record amount of USD 807.7 million in the first quarter of 2024, the National Tourism Administration reported.

According to the Tourism Administration, in 2024, the revenues received from international tourism exceeded the level of 2019 by 39.6% (USD 229 million), and the data for 2023 by 1.5% (USD 12.3 million).

The increase in revenues from international tourism is largely due to the active campaigns on target and new tourism markets conducted by the National Tourism Administration.
