Georgian Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Natia Turnava met representatives of the World Bank (WB) to discuss Log in Georgia project and future plans.

Natia Turnava said following the meeting that the internetization program with the support of the WB was going on at high speed.

She reported that the government completed the construction of high-speed optic-fiber infrastructure in Ozurgeti Municipality. Kobuleti is the next to carry out the pilot program. A tender is announced for Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti regions.

Within the framework of Log in Georgia project, internet network will be constructed in approximately 1 000 settlements. About 500 000 people will have high-speed internet.
