Interior Minister stays in landslide-ravaged Shovi resort

Georgian Minister of Internal Affairs Vakhtang Gomelauri continues to stay in the landslide-hit Shovi resort, Oni Municipality.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), Vakhtang Gomelauri visited the Mamisoni border sector after inspecting the disaster zone from the helicopter on August 13.

The Minister spoke to border guards, who evacuated eight people to the Mamisoni area on the disaster night.

Deputy Minister Ioseb Chelidze, Heads of different departments and local authorities accompanied Vakhtang Gomelauri.
