Interior Minister meets Kyrgyz Ambassador

Geka Geladze, Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyzstan to Georgia, Maksat Mamitkanov.

According to the Ministry, the parties discussed issues related to strengthening the existing partnership between the law enforcement agencies of the two countries.

During the meeting, the minister emphasized the importance of operational cooperation in the fight against organized crime.

“The parties expressed hope that through joint efforts, the existing ties between Georgia and the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of law enforcement will be further strengthened,” the ministry said in a statement.
