Interior Minister introduces new Head of Mtskheta-Mtianeti Police Department
Georgian Interior Minister Sulkhan Tamazashvili, together with First Deputy Minister Roni Meskhi, held a working meeting at the Mtskheta-Mtianeti Police Department, where he introduced the department’s newly appointed director, Police Lieutenant Colonel Giorgi Samarghanishvili.
Samarghanishvili succeeds Police Colonel Archil Makharadze, who will continue his career as Director of the Operational Support Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to the Interior Ministry’s press service, Tamazashvili wished the newly appointed regional police chief success in his new role. During the meeting, the minister also highlighted the ministry’s key priorities and discussed police preventive measures with the department’s leadership.
