Interior Minister holds working meetings with ministry officials in Samegrelo

The Georgian Minister of Internal Affairs, Sulkhan Tamazashvili, alongside his First Deputy Roni Meskhi and Deputy Shalva Tadumadze, has held a series of working meetings at the structural units in the Samegrelo region.

According to the ministry, the Minister inspected staff workspaces, technical infrastructure, and equipment.

The ministry further noted that Sulkhan Tamazashvili also visited the Enguri Bridge near the Abkhazian occupation line. There, he met with ministry personnel deployed along the boundary to maintain public safety and security.

“During his meetings with staff, Sulkhan Tamazashvili highlighted the ministry’s key priorities, emphasising that the agency remains fully committed to improving both the social and working conditions of police officers.

The Minister of Internal Affairs thanked the personnel for their dedicated and effective service,” the ministry’s statement read.
