Interagency military exercise Didgori 2021 to be underway

The interagency military exercise Didgori 2021 kicked off from November 8-12 at the Georgian Defense Forces.

The drills aim to improve military coordination and organization skills during critical situations. Units from the Ministry of Internal Affairs participate in the field exercises together with defence forces.

Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili attended the military exercise together with Defense Minister Juansher Burchuladze in Krtsanisi on Thursday. PM welcomes conduct of “such a successful training.”

“It is important that all agencies are involved in this exercise that will facilitate overall inter-agency coordination and crisis management. In general, coordination requires more training, and I welcome the fact that such a successful training took place this year,” said Irakli Gharibashvili.

Didgori military exercise took a start in 2012.
