Indian PM congratulates Irakli Kobakhidze on his appointment

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulates Georgian colleague Irakli Kobakhidze on his appointment.

As Modi’s congratulatory letter reads, India and Georgia enjoy warm and friendly relations.

“I extend my heartiest congratulations on your appointment as Prime Minister of Georgia.

“India and Georgia have traditionally enjoyed warm and friendly relations. In recent times, our bilateral ties have steadily strengthened and diversified into different areas of cooperation. I am confident that our cooperation will continue to strengthen under your leadership. I look forward to working with you to take our relations to new heights.

“I wish you good health and well-being, and prosperity for the friendly people of Georgia,” the letter reads.
