Income tax deadlines to be extended for winter resort hotels

The income tax payment deadline for hotels located in the Georgian winter resorts will be extended till July 1, 2021. The Tax Code amendment was initiated at today’s meeting of the Parliament Bureau.

The payment of November and December income tax will be due on July 1, 2021. The amendment applies to the hotels located in the winter resorts like Bakuriani, Gudauri, Goderdzi, and Mestia.

Based on government resolution, the activities of these hotels are limited to arranging Covid-19 quarantine areas.

The authors of the bill explain that the tax relief will apply to more than 100 companies. They demand the amendments be considered as soon as possible.
