Inaugural meeting held under joint leadership of State Minister’s Office and UNDP
The inaugural meeting of Result Group 4, co-chaired by the Office of the State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality and the United Nations Development Programme, was held within the United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF) for 2026–2030, the State Minister’s Office reported.
According to the statement, the meeting focused on key directions and mechanisms for achieving the fourth pillar of the framework, which aims to strengthen engagement, trust, and resilience among conflict-affected populations — including internally displaced persons — by 2030, and to support a peace-conducive environment on both sides of the dividing lines.
Participants also reviewed the draft Joint Work Plan for 2026–2027, which outlines projects and initiatives to be implemented by UN agencies for conflict-affected communities.
The State Minister’s Office highlighted the strategic goals and priorities of Georgia’s reconciliation and engagement policy.
Participants agreed to maintain close cooperation and ensure regular information exchange within the framework of Result Group 4.
