In pictures: Georgia marks 32nd Anniversary of Armed Forces

April 30 marks the 32nd anniversary of the creation of the Georgian Armed Forces (GAF).
On this occasion, a solemn event was held at the base of the Vaziani, IV Mechanized Brigade.
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, President Salome Zourabichvili, and other officials attended the event.
The modern Georgian military was founded as per the government decree of 24 April 1991.
The first conscripts were called up for military service on April 30, 1991.
