Today orthodox Christian Georgians celebrate Easter.
The Patriarch of the Georgian Orthodox Church, Ilia II, delivered a prayer at the Holy Trinity (Sameba) Cathedral on April 24.
Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili, Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and his cabinet members, Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili, and MPs attended the vigil.
