In pics: Protesters put up tents near Tbilisi State University's first building
Protesters have put up tents along Varaziskhevi Street and Chavchavadze Avenue, near Tbilisi State University’s first building. Some of them marched from Rustaveli Avenue.
Protesters claim the October 26 elections were rigged and demand re-elections.
Opposition figures, including Nika Gvaramia, Elene Khoshtaria, Gigi Ugulava, Giorgi Vashadze, Khatia Dekanoidze, and Sopho Japaridze, are present at the rally.
The opposition has announced a 24-hour protest until the government resigns. Every hour, they will issue statements.
