Jia Lijun, Vice-Governor of Guizhou Province in China, visited Georgia’s Imereti region to discuss enhancing the strategic partnership between Georgia and China.
The meeting underscored initiatives to advance economic, cultural, and educational ties between the two nations. Both sides expressed optimism about the newly established visa-free regime between Georgia and China, viewing it as a significant boost to Georgia’s tourism sector.
The presentation highlighted Imereti’s economic, industrial, and tourism opportunities. Levan Zalkaliani, State Representative of Imereti, emphasized the potential for promoting Imeriti wine and expanding trade routes, particularly targeting the Chinese market.
