Dimitri Mamagulashvili, a Georgian citizen illegally detained by the Russian occupation forces on April 17 near the Dvani village, Kareli municipality was released, the State Security Service of Georgia reported on Friday.
The SSG said it had activated a hotline and notified the European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMM). The government used all other instruments at its disposal.
The agency underscored that “the occupation forces bear full responsibility for the destructive actions carried out in the occupied regions of Georgia and along the occupation line.”
