Holy Fire Ceremony to take place in Jerusalem

The Holy Fire Ceremony will take place today, in the Christ Church in the Old City of Jerusalem and thousands of Eastern Orthodox pilgrims and official delegations from all over the world will attend the ceremony.

Coming down of the Holy Fire is a miracle that happens every year in the church or resurrection the bright Saturday day in Jerusalem. The patriarch enters Christ’s tomb holding candles and prays, then he goes out with the candles lit by the holy fire that never hurts when people touch it.
