High Council of Justice to hear candidates for Supreme Court

The members of the High Council of Justice will continue hearing the candidates for the position of judges of the Supreme Court before they face the Georgian parliament.

The interviews with two judges, Eka Zarnadze and Giorgi Keratishvili, will be held at the Supreme Court today.

Members of the High Council of Justice have heard over ten candidates so far. The High Council of Justice must select nine candidates by ballot out of a total of 50 contenders. The final list requires the parliament’s approval.
