Heavy rain, blizzard and strong winds are forecasted in Georgia from December 12 to 14

The National Environmental Agency has issued a weather forecast for Georgia, covering the period from December 12 to the morning of December 14.

Forecasters warn that Georgia can expect rainfall, particularly in the western regions, with some areas experiencing heavy showers during this period. Snow is expected in the mountainous regions, with some areas experiencing substantial accumulations, accompanied by fog, blizzards, and icy conditions on the roads.

On December 13 and 14, strong westerly winds are expected to sweep across most of the country, and a storm of 4-5 intensity is possible at sea.

Due to the heavy snowfall, poor visibility, blizzards, and icy conditions, traffic restrictions may be enforced on certain routes. (Medium danger level).
