The National Environmental Agency reports that from the afternoon of September 7 until the morning of September 8, most regions of Georgia will experience rain, with occasional heavy showers, thunderstorms, and hail in some areas.
According to the agency, strong winds are also expected in coastal regions.
“The forecasted heavy rainfall may lead to a significant rise in water levels on Georgian rivers, flash floods on small rivers, and the onset or activation of landslides and mudslides in mountainous areas (medium danger level),” the statement said.
