Health Ministry launches free nationwide flu vaccination

The Ministry of IDPs, Labor, Health and Social Affairs announced the launch of the seasonal flu vaccination state-funded immunization program starting today till November 15 throughout Georgia.

The Ministry of Health offers a four-component vaccine from Abbott Biologicals B.V., authorized by the World Health Organization (WHO), free of charge. This vaccine is tailored to the strains expected to circulate during the flu season.

Vaccination is recommended for all persons aged above six months. The jabs are available at institutions providing immunization services.
