Health Minister meets with Egyptian Ambassador
Mikheil Sarjveladze, Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia, has met with Amal Afifi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Georgia.
During the introductory meeting, the Minister briefed the Ambassador on the ministry’s operations and ongoing initiatives.
According to the Ministry of Health, the parties discussed developments across the healthcare sector, opportunities to deepen medical cooperation, and the importance of knowledge sharing between the two nations. Particular attention was also directed towards current initiatives in the areas of labour and social protection.
The discussion further covered prospects for implementing joint projects and advancing future bilateral cooperation.
The representatives from the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also attended the meeting.
