Health Minister meets parents of children with achondroplasia

The Georgian Health Minister, Mikheil Sarjveladze, and Deputy Minister Tamar Gabunia met with parents of children with achondroplasia to review the progress of the medicine Vosoritide treatment program.

Minister Sarjveladze listened to updates from the parents regarding the health status of the children undergoing Vosoritide treatment. The discussions also covered various aspects of the program’s implementation and future expansion.

The Vosoritide achondroplasia treatment program commenced in Georgia in November 2023, initially involving six beneficiaries. Five more are expected to be included in the program in the coming days.
