Health Minister meets Australian First Secretary and Consul

The Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia has met with Jennifer Kingsman, First Secretary and Consul of the Australian Embassy to Georgia (resident in Ankara).

According to the Ministry of Health press office, Mikheil Sarjveladze briefed Kingsman on the Ministry’s ongoing work and key initiatives. During the introductory meeting, discussions focused on current state programmes and planned reforms in IDP resettlement, employment, social welfare, and healthcare provision.

“Mikheil Sarjveladze highlighted the importance of the partnership between Georgia and Australia. For her part, Jennifer Kingsman expressed full readiness to foster active bilateral cooperation. The two sides also explored prospects for undertaking joint projects,” the Ministry statement read.

The representatives from both the Ministry of Health and the Australian Consulate-General also attended the meeting.
