Health Minister - Georgia kicks off aggressive testing of the population by the end of the week
“By the end of the week, we will have the opportunity to start aggressive testing of the population,” the Minister of Health Ekaterine Tikaradze said in an interview with Georgian First Channel.
“We have received a recommendation from the World Health Organization to kick-off aggressive testing. We have been negotiating with the countries with the best experience regarding testing,” Tikaradze noted.
Georgian Health Minister urges citizens to follow the recommendation issued by the Ministry of Health.
Georgia has confirmed 34 cases of COVID-19. 1008 remains under quarantine, and 64 under hospital supervision.
