The health condition of Tsotne Gamsakhurdia, son of Georgia’s first President Zviad Gamsakhurdia, remains critical.
According to Doctor Nikoloz Kvachadze, Head of Surgery Department of Khechinashvili University Hospital, the patient may be subjected to the third operation, though the surgery is not planned yet. Gamsakhurdia remains connected to the artificial breathing device.
Tsotne Gamsakhurdia, the son of first president Zviad Gamsakhurdia, was taken to Khechinashvili clinic after he was wounded at Gali Street in Tbilisi on December 19.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) has opened an investigation under Article 19-108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, involving premeditated murder.
