Head of Technical and Construction Supervision Agency dismissed

Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Natia Turnava dismissed Grigol Kakauridze, the head of Technical and Construction Supervision Agency (TCSA).

According to Minister, the document, which was issued in connection with Poti Port, is not a construction permit.

“The document that was issued is not a construction permit – this is the document of the preliminary conditions of land use, which was issued at the orders of the head of the Agency for Technical and Construction Supervision, so this issue was not agreed with any of the current members of the government or personally with me. In addition, as it turned out, the document was issued with procedural violations. Therefore, today we made a decision to abolish this document, and the head of the agency was dismissed from his post, ” – said Turnava.
