May 31 is Police Day, and the Head of State Security Service, Geka Geladze, has extended congratulations to all police officers on this occasion, praising their service and dedication.

In his letter, Geladze noted that officers who serve with dignity and remain faithful to their oath represent the strength of the institution.

“As a former Minister of Internal Affairs, I understand well the difficult and responsible work you perform every day. I know the value of your service for the security of our country and society, often at great personal risk,” he stated.

He emphasized that a strong police force is essential for a strong and secure state, adding that its effectiveness depends on professional officers who serve the country with daily, selfless work.

“A strong police force means a strong and secure state. The police are strong and successful when they are staffed by professional officers who serve Georgia with daily, selfless dedication,” the letter reads.

Geladze also expressed gratitude to officers serving on the front lines, thanking them for their courage and commitment to public safety.

“Once again, I congratulate everyone on Police Professional Day. I wish you a united, strong, and successful life in Georgia,” he concluded.
