Head of Government Administration meets Ambassador of India to Georgia
Levan Zhorzholiani, Head of Government Administration of Georgia met H.E. Amit Kumar Mishra, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Georgia today, the Government Administration reported.
The meeting focused on relations between India and Georgia along with future areas of cooperation. The importance of the appointment of Amit Kumar Mishra as the first resident Ambassador of India to Georgia was highlighted as an important step toward further strengthening the partnership between the two countries.
The sides discussed economic cooperation and trade between the two countries, emphasizing the importance of harnessing the existing potential in these areas. The meeting also addressed Georgia-India relations in the fields of tourism, culture, education and science.
Zviad Barkaya, Deputy Head of Government Administration of Georgia attended the meeting.
