Hailstorm hits Lagodekhi

Hailstorm has hit Lagodekhi Municipality of the eastern Kakheti region for already the second time on Saturday. Giorgeti, Kakliani and Baghdati villages became victims of the natural disaster.

According to Lagodekhi Municipality Mayor, Jondo Mdivnishvili, the hailstorm continued for 10-15 minutes. It damaged agriculture crops and land plots.

The road leading to Kabali village is flooded. A special commission will begin to calculate the inflicted damage from tomorrow.
