Construction of a festival city has begun at the Tsinatela Amusement Park in Shekvetili, Guria, which will host the legendary rock band Guns N’ Roses.
Starring Georgia informs that one of the most beloved bands for listeners of all generations will perform a concert within this specially-built festival city, designed to accommodate a massive audience.
The newly constructed space, equipped with modern infrastructure, will allow guests to arrive as early as 4:00 p.m. to immerse themselves in the pre-concert atmosphere. Music lovers can participate in various entertainment activities specifically planned for the event.
Additionally, the venue will feature bars and food venues offering diverse dishes and beverages.
“This project is unprecedented for Georgia in terms of both construction work and technical aspects,” notes Kobi Manjgaladze, Technical Director of Starring Georgia.
“We are developing a vibrant mini-city across approximately 40,000 square meters of the Tsinatela parking area. This project will include a stage, backstage facilities, and essential infrastructure such as food venues and other amenities. The existing asphalt surface increases safety during construction and ensures clean mobility for concertgoers. This is the standard that Europe has been moving toward for a long time. There, parking spaces are often used alongside stadiums for major concerts.
Throughout this process, we’re employing technical equipment from many renowned, world-leading international brands—starting with our Eurotruss-manufactured stage, the largest in the region, complemented by Clay Paky lighting and L-Acoustics sound systems,” he said.
The new festival city, being specially built for the popular band’s concert, will consider every visitor’s comfort and needs: an adapted zone will be specially arranged for people with disabilities, ensuring equal access and full inclusion for everyone.
The Guns N’ Roses concert will take place on May 30. Notably, the international platform iticket.com is involved in the ticket sales process. Due to high demand, tickets are being sold in Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan.
The May 30 show will span approximately five hours, featuring the unique experience of two concerts in one evening. This marks the first time an artist has brought their own support band to the venue. Before the legendary rock icons take the stage, Rival Sons will deliver a high-energy opening performance for the audience.
