Greece hands over the Olympic flame to Tokyo in empty stadium

Greece handed over the Olympic flame to Tokyo 2020 organisers.

The ceremony that held at the Panathenaic Stadium in Athens did not have spectators amid coronavirus concerns.

The flame was handed to Tokyo 2020 representative Naoko Imoto, a swimmer who competed in the Atlanta 1996 Olympics.

The 2020 Summer Olympics is scheduled to take place from 24 July to 9 August 2020 in Tokyo, Japan.
