Reigning world champion, 18-year-old Vakhtang Lolua, has won a silver medal at the European Championships in Tirana, the capital of Albania.

In the final, he was defeated by Emin Sefershaev, a Georgian athlete competing under a neutral flag, which secured Georgia its first medal at the tournament.

Meanwhile, Ramaz Zoidze (77 kg) is set to compete for the gold medal in today’s final block, while Fridon Abuladze (63 kg) lost his bout for the bronze medal.
