Greco-Roman Wrestling: Iuri Lomidze becomes European Vice-Champion #1TVSPORT
Iuri Lomidze (72 kg) won the title of European Vice-Champion in Greco-Roman wrestling at the 2026 European Wrestling Championships in Tirana, Albania.
Georgian wrestler lost to Ibrahim Mahmoud Hamed Hassan Ghanem from France in the finals.
The Georgian team counts 4 medals: Diego Chkhikvadze (67 kg) won a bronze medal, Iuri Lomidze (72 kg), Vakhtang Lolua (55 kg) and Ramaz Zoidze (77 kg) gained silver medals.
Gela Bolkvadze (82 kg) will also fight for the bronze medal.
