Grant Office of Horizon Europe opens at Samtskhe-Javakheti State University

A new Horizon Europe grant office was opened at the Samtskhe-Javakheti State University at the initiative of the Georgian Ministry of Education and Science.

The new office aims to ensure mediation of coordinated work between the EU and Georgian universities.

Similar offices of Horizon Europe already function at different universities across Georgia.

With the budget of 95,5 billion Euro, Horizon Europe is an unprecedented program, which allows Georgian scientists and innovators to be involved in large-scale scientific programs together with their European colleagues.

Georgia became a member of the new Research and Innovations Frame Program of Horizon Europe in 2021.
