GPB video journalist Beso Gaphrindashvili discharged home after medical examination revealed no bone pathology
“The Emergency Medicine Department confirmed no bone pathology for the GPB First Channel cameraman and recommended home discharge,” Irakli Pirtskhalaishvili, the head of the Emergency Medicine Department stated.
According to his statement, the patient was treated with a soft bandage on the injured phalanges.
He arrived at the clinic with complaints of pain in the third and fourth phalanges of his right hand. As he explained, pyrotechnic debris struck his hand while he was performing his official duties, leading to the injury. X-ray examinations revealed no bone pathology. The patient was also evaluated by traumatologists, who applied a soft bandage to the affected phalanges and recommended discharge for home care.
