The Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) responded to the information shared on social media, having stated that claims of the purported theft of users’ personal data from the servers of the GPB First Channel are false.

“The integrity of the database on GPB-operated servers is not damaged, and proper security solutions assure the servers’ long-term safety. We urge all stakeholders to refrain from spreading misleading information,” reads the statement.
