Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) offered condolence to families of the victims of Leogrand Hotel fire in Batumi city.
GPB said that on November 26 it will air live the grand show of 2017 Junior Eurovision Song Contest (JESC) hosted for the first time by Georgia. GPB, as official partner and organizer of the contest, has the obligation to provide live transmission together with other countries participating in JESC.
It is noteworthy that First Channel was prepared to live transmit a solemn activity before the grand show that was cancelled due to the current circumstances in Batumi.
Tbilisi Olympic Palace will host the 15th JESC at 19:00 on November 26. Young singers from 16 European countries arrived in Tbilisi on the occasion of the musical competition. Georgia is hosting JESC for the first time.
