GPB management meets with Government of Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia

The management of the Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) and the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia held a meeting to discuss a collaboration on a documentary series titled “Unknown Stories of Famous Abkhazians.”

The series is inspired by researcher Nato Marshania’s book “Abkhaz Aristocrats in Emigration” and brings to light the lives of Abkhazians who continued the fight for Georgia’s independence from abroad-standing shoulder to shoulder with Georgians while in emigration.

Three episodes-part of a multi-part series-have already been filmed, with the official premiere scheduled for September.
