GPB First Channel to broadcast Constitutional Court’s party ban hearings live and share feed with other media

Georgian Public Broadcaster today wrote to the President of the Constitutional Court of Georgia requesting permission to film the court’s hearings on 21, 22 and 23 October 2026, broadcast them live and provide the television signal to other media outlets.

The request was granted.

GPB First Channel will therefore film the hearings, stream them live on its website (1tv.ge) and on social media (YouTube and Facebook), and distribute the television signal.

The hearings on Georgian Dream’s constitutional lawsuit, which asks the Constitutional Court to ban the Unity – National Movement, the Coalition for Change, Strong Georgia – Lelo, the Federalists, and Gakharia for Georgia, are set to begin on 21 October.
