“Our channel turned 66 today. Each year is a gained experience that serves as an important prerequisite for growth and development. GPB is there where Georgia is,” said Tinatin Berdzenishvili, Director General of the Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB).

According to Tinatin Berdzenishvili, it is an honor and huge responsibility to represent First Georgian Television.

“We often say that GPB is there where Georgia that exactly delivers the everyday work of each of us: Representing First Georgian Television of the country is an honor and huge responsibility at the same time. I wish you a Happy Birthday and a Happy New Year!,” she said.

The First Georgian Television turned 66 today. Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) currently unites 2 TV channels – First Channel and Teleskola (TV School), two radio stations – Georgian Radio and Georgian Radio 2 as well as the web platform 1tv.ge and several digital products.

First Channel is the largest producer of Georgian programs and projects on the market and makes significant contributions to the Georgian creative sector and economy.
