Gov't to co-fund acquisition of agricultural equipment for residents of mountainous settlements

The government meeting on Wednesday decided to offer state co-financing for locals living in mountainous settlements in Georgia to buy agricultural equipment and vehicles.

The program to be implemented by the Rural Development Agency aims to boost the accessibility of farmers to agriculture equipment. Its budget is GEL 5 million.

Starting in April, individuals who are permanent residents of high mountainous settlements and own agricultural land plots can submit applications for co-financing.
